Sea the Mother

I have noticed that some parts of the india, people worship sea as their mother and regularly visit the sea shore to see. After giving it a detailed thought i came to know that their is logical reasons. People are wholly dependent on sea food for their daily livelihood and other expenditure. Then why not, its a great sense of humanship.
