How do you cope with it on a day-to-day basis?
I have bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, to name a couple of my illnesses.... but I feel that I'm pretty stable, considering....
What helps you or your loved ones the most... therapy, talking with friends about problems, medication, coping skills, heavy breathing techniques, listening to music, partaking in creative arts such as writing poetry or drawing....?

I have bi-polar disorder, problems with anxiety and paranoia. To top that off, I suffer from Cerebral Atrophy, which is shrinking of my brain, something similar to Alzheimer's. I have to take one day at a time. At the moment, I'm not on any meds. I am hoping to get back on meds but my office visit for specialists is $80. Being on disability, that's a lot. I'm glad that the Affordable Care Act prevents insurance companies from denying my insurance because of pre-existing conditions. However, I was hoping that health care costs would be controlled and reduced a little more.

@ flpoolbum Hi, I hope I'm doing this right!
But oh my goodness, it sounds like you have a lot to deal with... I know how that goes; I'm on disability, too... I hope you can get back on your medication.... I had to go off my meds for similar reasons for a couple of years, and ended up having to be hospitalized for about a year-and-a-half... It was a nightmare, and so I really hope you can get this taken care of. :)
