Celebration

We celebrate everything, from anniversaries to birthdays. From new jobs to last day at work. From first salary to retirement... We have learnt to celebrate it all. Then why can't we celebrate ourselves? Why is there a need to be like the 'perfect someone' whom we adore? God gave each of us a different life, A different road to follow. A different path to take. Nobody can live our life better than us. So keep moving forward. For God chose you to be unique. If He had to create a replica, he wouldn't have worked so hard. In this busy world, don't forget to celebrate God's marvellous creation which is You.

Nice post by you. Yes, you are very right that life is for celebrations and we should celebrate, as much as we could. Our own happiness matters more than others. Do you quite often go for celebrations on slightest pretext?

Thank you so much @ dpk262006 for ur reponse. Celebration for me means happiness, if I am not happy I might end up cribbing at the slightest thing and then end up ruining the happiness of my family. Yes we do celebrate every Lil thing, maybe with just a home made cake or a pizza . What matters is living the particular happy moment completely. For eg there was this day when my daughter started to draw on the walls,so instead of scolding or reprimanding my husband and I enjoyed her drawings, we gave her more colours too. And she drew everywhere. We celebrated her discovery with her, her excitement with her... Coz this stage of life will pass away, she'll quickly grow and she might not draw on the walls again haha.

@Sherlymbejoy - My pleasure Sherly Bejoy. It is nice to hear that you love to celebrate and you keep on finding the reasons to keep yourself happy. Yes, making a cake or pizza (with some twist) could give you happiness. I agree with you that we should live the moment with full happiness. The incident you wrote about your daughter made me smile - yes, it is true that she wrote innocently on the wall (without knowing its implications) but she drawing or writing on the wall is a pleasure in itself and she should not be scolded on this account. Nice to meet you. I am unable to reach the link you provided in your profile. I also write on some sites sometimes.

Our family also have the similar habit with you. We celebrate birthdays, mother's day, father's day, etc. And I invite my dad to watch a football match, purchased online from damaiwang, of his favourite team on his last birthday, he was very happy towards that.

Thank you for your lovely response. It's a joy to make our loved ones feel special. Sometimes through a gift or by sometimes by just saying how much we love them. Isn't it @annmilly. Love is the source of all happiness.
