Well said. What does the old adage say? "Nothing ventured, nothing gained"? People are wired to be risk averse. It is that inherent trait which must be over ridden to accomplish anything. That being said, there is a valid reason we evolved to be risk averse. It is an evolutionary survival instinct. It is what keeps us alive. The balance must be struck in the risk to loss/gain ratio.
