Absolutely nothing. I have just been sitting here at my computer screen, refreshing mylot until well... this happened. I'm totally kidding by the way. Let's see here... Breakdown : Same company (employed by) but different department (I work with all guys now, no drama mama right here!) Same house (but I've come to terms with it and have been saving up. Writing / Reading. I've still been writing creatively, and am working on a story as we speak. I've been looking into publishing with amazon.. Truthfully? I am taking it all one day at a time. Even if it's only one sentence I manage to write, well I write it out. Does anyone else thing "asunder" sounds like "ass under"? I bet you do now.

Welcome back! It means that you are a creative writer and you believe in doing something, instead of sitting idle. It is good to hear that you have been working on a story and you aim to publish it. All the best.

Well, I only think asunder sounds like that because you said it..lol So tell me about your story. What is the genre and how long is it? Even if it is a short story, I hope you have someone who is not only truthful, but knowledgeable to have read it and helped you, even Stephen Kings has people look at his work before publishing.

I am trying to keep the story as short as possible. In essence it's a fictional autobiography. I am taking liberties with my past and really giving them a spin. I have a few people I can trust to do the job for me. Once i am in the stage of needing an editor I have a person in mind who I am sure will also be happy to help. (you should hear me say "asunder" in my southern accent!)

I've been visiting MyLot nearly every day, actually, and it was rather like drinking cold, milky coffee with the milk slightly off, so I'm VERY glad that the site is now beginning to see some life again! Of course, that isn't all I've been doing! I joined Bubblews, saw that site very nearly go under and then recover by the skin of its teeth - it's now quite an attractive and usable site, though I still prefer MyLot, somehow. I also joined a number of other writing sites which have opened up in the last couple of years. None of them, however, have quite 'hit it' with me. I am much less of a 'writer' than I am a 'commentor', I find and, on most sites, commenting doesn't earn any money - not that I do it for the money, really, except that it's nice to feel one is getting something: a bit like earning points in a game. Otherwise, life goes on and I take photographs, oversee the building work on my brother's house (now finished), enjoy cooking, take a holiday or two, do a little drawing and painting, play various instruments and sing a little ... all the usual things which make up life, if you have one!

Getting an edge on Michael and Diana then I see. I stayed with bubblews and sites like it for awhile but there is something about mylot. None of the other sites could compare that is for sure.

Yes I put the "formerly known as" because I wasn't sure how many people had seen my introductory of me :)
