The Donald is going up against experts on stage for the GOP presidential debates.
And while he has no debate coaches, he says he's going to be himself.
Is he reading the dissatisfaction of the voters right?
After all, it seems that he is appealing to the public in a way not expected. Certainly not from the professional politicians that will be there.
And how long do you think it might take for one of the candidates to promise""GREATER ACCOUNTABILITY""?

Trump is no politician. Not that that is a bad thing. But he is not going to be able to go toe to toe with those seasoned politicians, I mean liars. Those people know how to twist words and make you look bad. But Trump don't need any help in that department. He is burring himself real good. This country does not need people like Trump or a politician. This country needs a real human being to be running things. Someone who knows what it's like to be poor and to have to work for their money. Someone who understands the human needs and rights. None of the republicans know anything like that and neither does Trump. They all came from money. Obama, he knows, but his hands were tied with the house and congress all these years. I think Hillary will be the next president.

@inertia4 Precisely my point.
Direct Democracy gives no one absolute power.
The elected, administer the day to day affairs of their jurisdiction. City, state, province, nation... whatever.
The people however may at anytime, rise up and having gained enough valid signatures on a petition, FORCE a referendum on a specific piece of legislation, to either undo it, change it, or leave it alone.
They would also be able to ENACT legislation in the event that the SNIVEL SERVANT politicians won't act.
There is a basic bill of rights that all must abide by so that MOB RULE as some have called it, cannot affect individuals adversely.
Obviously you won't get it nationally, but on a state level, it is possible, just as I am trying on the provincial level in Canada.
Constitutional reform based on what would work on the state level affecting the national.
Politicians of all stripes would immediately stand and take notice if one state or one province rolled this way. And I would expect their butts to pucker with fear of the voters.
One province or one state, would have all politicians looking over their shoulders for a long time.

@BCRMike Who is controlled by the voters? Actually this country, these days, is way too far backwards to get anything fixed. All the people running hardly care much about the masses of people. Are we supposed to have the power? Yes, but do we really? No.

I don't disagree but isn't democracy about freedom of speech?
