I have decided to have more fun

I am one of those boring people who has to be made to have fun, it seems. People all around me have fun, and I must join in somehow.
We often bowl when we go see my brother and that is fun. Swimming is fun, sewing is fun.
My dad loves to play various card games and board games. Need to do that.
I do not play online games, I had rather earn money, and chat with people.
Car shows can be fun.
I intend to make moving fun as well.
Come on guys, give me some more suggestions of fun. I have forgotten how to have some.

I like dancing and shooting pool ... and if those options are not challenging and fun enough on their own, then you can try doing them at the same time.

Actually I was wondering if you did them simultaneously. I should crank up some tunes here tomorrow and that would make me dance, have fun and exercise all at once. Thanks.

@GardenGerty Yup, I used to shoot on a pool team, and if a song came on that I liked while I was shooting, then I would totally dance to it - it is a lot of fun and great exercise. Besides, it also tends to throw off the game of your opponent, especially if the other person is super serious.

I dance and stock the shelves at work sometimes. A bit challenging (and embarrassing when a co-worker walks by).

There is a woman's club I attend when it is convenient. It is one my sister in law is in. Used to be a Red Hat group but the national organization decided it needed dues that some members could not afford. So we are now 'Victorian Violets'. I make it to one or two meetings a year.

@Rosekitty The ladies are great, and a wider age than just the red hat ladies would be. We had "pink hats" under 50 and then the rest of us.

Pick up a new hobby or brush up on an old one that you have stopped doing. For this year, I'll try to get back into photography and stamp collecting.

Better not to ask me. I go to work and I come home. Friends are in various different directions and none too close so hardly see them. There's a bowling alley near me where I could bowl, play pool, or the arcade games if I was so inclined. There's a movie theater as well but it's one of the more expensive ones. THere's all sorts of classes offered at craft stores.
We have an art's district here where a gallery hop takes place every first friday of the month. Fun and laughter to be had with discounts at shops and generally just fun.

@GardenGerty Soon the craft classes will morph into more fall type crafts, my favorite season.

I am a lot like that myself. I don't have much fun myself. Although I actually find things fun that I do any way that most people don't. I find my own fun in the norm. I would like a few more activities too though.

Fun depends on each individual.
I like gardening even though I am not good at it I do try.
Using my computer to write and communicate takes up a lot of my day and it keeps me busy.
How about going to the movies I always enjoy that.
Simply going for a walk can be fun.

Most of my fun does revolve around the computer.

I have cut back on thrift shops and yard sales until we get moved. No need to pack more stuff.

We are moving to a very small town, just a few miles from here. I know you were in Kansas for a while, and if you want to tell us where you are now, that is okay, or if you do not. What matters is that you are here on MyLot.

Sounds like you do a lot of fun things. But if you want more, how about boating? Maybe you can rent a canoe or motorboat and have some fun on a lake. (That is if there is one nearby) I had a lot of fun yesterday when we rented a canoe. I also had fun today playing badminton with my son and his friend.

We actually own a canoe and look forward to using it more as we are moving close to a lake.

Hobbies! Crafting - sewing, knitting, woodwork. Cooking - baking, bbqs, chili cook offs! Local events - volunteering, gardening, classes! There's so many ways to do it.. primarily networking!

This is part of why I am moving. I have already been to an herbal cooking class in my new town. I can even go garden at the venue if I want to. I do like to sew but have not done anything in months.

@Lolaze no, this is not our car. We go to a lot of car shows. Hubby sells some car care products. This picture was taken at Salina, Ks. at the 2015 KKOA Lead Sled event.
