Is it easy to wish someone else good luck? I think so unless that you mean the other way because there is something wrong between you and the person. Do you really mean it when you say that word. Whether you believe it or not, there are some people who take the word "good luck" as sarcastic. I don't know why they find it offensive but for me to be safe I would rather say "God Bless." God bless us all

It all depends on the relationship, If there is hostolity and that good wish comes then I suppose it is taken differently.

I say good luck a lot and I really mean it at the time. Probably wishing them the best even if their current project doesn't work they still may get some good luck.

I do believe so and may be it also depends on the person how he takes the word.

i wish people good luck in their ventures quite often....very rarely do i mean it sarcastically (but there have been a few times, and those usually came with a chuckle LOL)... i am more prone to wish "good luck" opposed to "god bless" or "god speed" due to a mix of my own beliefs, with also not wanting to offend the other person as well. I am a pretty open and loving person, and wish ill will upon no one, so if i take the time to wish you good luck (even if i don't know you well) it means i took at least a little time out of my day to think of you and hope things go okay.

I rarely wish "good luck" and I rather say something else when I want to. The reason is that for many people in my country, wishing good luck is supposed to cause bad luck. The worst you can do to a theater artist is to offer him/her a bouquet of carnation and to wish him/her good luck.

It is easy to wish people good luck or God bless. We may not really mean it literally but it is a good wish anyway. For people who somehow find it sarcastic, wait till they hear "Happy Birthday" - Do they really think that the well-wishers really want them to drop down after eating the cake? For those people, I wish them "good luck". Life is beautiful because of the loving thoughts in all of us.

It's a way to make sure the person would be careful or get the best result of his or her field
