So here's the thing I'm due for an upgrade on my phone, I've been using Samsung products for the last few years have not been happy with my most recent phone for a while now. Previously I had used Iphones for several years prior and just grew bored with them and wanted more ability to customize my phone. Well I'm now ready to make another change i won't buy Samsungs latest phone and I'm not sure I really want an Iphone so I'm looking for some suggestions from my Mylot family.

well there are a few options that you can go with at this point.
You can go with a blackberry
There is also Windows Phone 10
But if you wanna stay with Android but aren't happy with Samsungs you might want to look into the LG G4, HTC One, or a Motorola.
Of course it depends on your carrier, but there are plenty of options.

I'm kind of hesitant to go with a Windows Phone not really sure why anymore, I suppose if I had the chance to talk to someone who had one who really liked it I might give it a shot. Strongly considering the LG G4 as I have an LG Gpad and I love it most days... I'm on AT&T if that helps with suggestions. I'm all ears as I'm hoping to find a good option that ill be happy with. I loved my Samsung Galaxy s3 I'm now on my third Galaxy s4 and every single one of them has been a piece of junk. Only phone Ive ever made more then one warranty or insurance claim on in my life.
My current one which I just got on an insurance claim about a month ago has had problems since day one. Whom ever I'm talking to can hear themselves echo back when they talk. And I don't like the fact that Samsung got rid of the Removable battery and the ability to use expandable media on the Galaxy S6.
Thank You for your input!

@glasser3 You should definitely go with the LG G4 then. I have the LG G2 and I'm pretty happy with it.
I don't think you can remove the battery on it but you can expand the memory up to 2TB. Not sure if screen size matters to you but 5.5" is a lot of screen and its quite vibrant.

@TheDemonicAngel That's at this point my plan unless someone out there can show me something that I might like more. Like I said I had Iphones once before and from what I've seen from friends who still have them, I don't think they've changed enough to sway my opinion.
Is there any inherent drawbacks to your LG G2 that might carry over into the G4 that you'd warn a potential buyer on if you were the sales person at AT&T?

I currently use Android, I have a Samsung Galaxy s 4 which has been one of the worst phones I've owned in terms of reliability, I'm on my 3rd Galaxy S4 to be exact. Prior to this phone I had an S3 and a Galaxy S 2 Skyrocket, both of which I loved. I had previously been a long time Iphone user and if I can find a device I Like I would prefer to stay an Android user as I never was completely happy with some of the limitations built into IOS but I'm looking for opinions as to what I should look at getting as I am no longer happy with Samsung mostly due to the omission of a removable battery and MicroSD card slot. If you've got any good suggestions I'd love to take a look at them. As of right now I'm leaning toward the LG G4 but again I'm open to other suggestions. Thanks for your input!

Usually, the choice is between Samsung and Iphone. AS I have been a Samsung user for sometime now, I still would go for the latest Samsung phone over an iPhone 6.

The problem I have with the newest Samsung device is the fact that they eliminated basically all the features of their phones that made me switch to Samsung to begin with in their latest version of the Galaxy series of devices.
I personally was hoping the Note 5 would return some of the features I really liked, for example, the removable battery and the MicroSD card slot, but from what's been leaked so far ahead of Samsung's August 13th unpacking event I'm not holding out much hope.
So I guess for me I don't see much reason to stick with Sumsung's devices from my personal perspective, That's not to say I will for sure make the jump back to Iphone as I do like Android much more then I ever liked Apple's Iphone Operating system.
