Thoughts on Planned Parenthood Recently?

Hey guys, This is my first real post here, so thank you for reading! I apologize if this post is a bit controversial, but I don't know a lot of people who keep up with current events. I'm a bit of a news junkie.. I read a lot of alternative media (RT, DrudgeReport, AntiWar.com, etc), as well as following the bigger networks (CNN, FOX, etc). Recently I've been reading a LOT about planned parenthood, and their recent scandal. The details of the scandal are a bit graphic, so consider this a warning if you have a sensitive stomach... Alright, so recently several videos were released of Planned Parenthood employees who were harvesting organs from aborted fetuses, and selling them on the black market. The ones that I saw were mainly being sold to companies that were doing scientific research. My first reaction, of course, was to be completely disgusted and horrified.. which I still am, I guess. But that got me thinking about the debates that were raised during the Bush Administration about stem cell research. What do you think about this topic? On one hand, stem cell research could potentially help a lot of people who are paralyzed, or have other health issues. On the other hand, the thought of harvesting unborn children for scientific purposes can be seen as incredibly unethical. Additionally, do you feel that because of this scandal, planned parenthood should still receive state and federal funding? Should changes be made to Planned Parenthood, or should the organization be disbanded entirely? I look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions. -Zero
