Kindred Clansmen

I have a dilemma. I have been told that we all have a 'Kindred Clans(wo)man' and sometimes these people develop into soulmates. I have never heard the term before and am not really certain what it means. I have a 'friend', with whom I get on well but who I never feel entirely comfortable about. There is history that I shan't bother you with here, but we are uncannily similar in our approaches to things. Even apparent random ideas such as how our gardens should look and the fact that we want to the same garden centre (there are many around here) and bought almost identical topiary bushes to put outside our front door! That might just be coincidence of course. Anyway, just what does the term mean please and what should I do now? Tell her? Or keep my counsel?

I've never heard the term before, but it's bound to happen that people who are drawn together are often going to have the same tastes in various things, and buy the same stuff. As you're not entirely comfortable with the person, I wouldn't say anything at all. Put it down to coincidence, but look out for other instances, just out of interest.

I've never heard the term, but kindred spirits is one I hear often. As SandrainSpain pointed out it's bound to happen. How nearly identical the people are may vary greatly just as your doppleganger may be your "twin" physically or just look very much like you, your "kindred clansman" may hold your views, likes, etc. on a few or many subjects.

@thebeaddoodler On the other hand, your KC may just be stalking and mimicing you because you have excellent taste. :)

If you find out let me know. I do not have that experience at this time. As someone said, they could be stalking you.
