I'm a big SF/F fan, but I also read mysteries. I tend to read series mysteries and, just about anything about Sherlock Holmes.

Look up the website GoodReads. They cover everything and the reviews are honest and informative. Otherwise, come visit me and peruse my library!

How about Nicholas Sparks. I love his novels. I love how deep his stories and you will be really moved. My favorite is A Walk to Remember, the bad boy turn to good boy because he is inlove with a good girl.

Nice, I haven't read any of the ones you mentioned, but I do like to read. If you haven't read 1984 or Brave New World, those are probably my two favorites of all time. Ishmael by Daniel Quin is also a great book about the evolution of man, and our insane God complex. I don't really read many thriller or action books, but I love classic literature and books that are relevant to society, or historical fiction. -Zero

Brave New World is similar to 1984, but was written by Aldous Huxley who is one of my favorite authors. I'm more into books that have some type of depth to them, whether that's philosophical or otherwise. But I'm a weirdo sooo :P
