I try to be a sociable and friendly neighbour. My next door neighbour has had building work going on since January 2nd and I expect that she's pretty fed up with builders by now. They're getting towards the end however, and today she took delivery of a new flat pack kitchen. There was a knock at the door and a Russian sounding, thick set man, the type that you don't ever argue with, said "you moov caer please". I did so as it was very evident by the truck that dwarfed my house that it would be impolitic to decline. He then followed up with "I hev beeg dump to mek". I think that he meant that he wished to offload the kitchen. I do hope so....

PIKEEEEEYYY !!! It's been far too long my friend.
Now lets see about the current discussion. If nothing is smelling bad up your alley, hopefully you were right, but do mind your step tomorrow or at night if you are taking the trash out, will you ?.
Also be careful, if you do find something there not to step in it !

Presumably, big Russians do make big dumps. Depends on how much vodka he had last night, and how much meat was in the goulash. I would have moved the car too - seagull poop is bad enough, but big Russian dumps are to be avoided at all costs.

I was driving home yesterday and there was this hunormous truck in the middle of the road... I get closer and there are premade roof eaves fall off the back of his truck into a building site. All I could think was: "I hope those are being delivered safely, if not - there are going to be complaints!"
