I currently find myself in a position where I have the need to generate extra income for my family, I have searched and searched for places that are legitimate and pay decently and fairly. I am very excited to see mylot is paying again as I enjoyed this site back in the day. I however need to find something that I can make a bit more steady income from to help cover the current shortfall I find myself in.
What sites do you use? Have you been paid? I'm interested in all types of opportunities; blogging, reviewing products, surveys, etc. I just need to be mindful that my budget doesn't allow for me to make a big upfront investment. Any suggestions?

There was a time that I was able to make a decent amount of money from the computer but I did have to dedicate a lot of time to it, so in that sense it wasn't really worth it to me.
That said, I am sure that there are a lot of people here that are making decent money online and I'm sure they will be able to lead you in the right direction.

One legitimate writing site I was on was Textbroker. Check it out. If you decide to join you will be asked to write a sample. Be a grammar nazi on the sample and make sure all your punctuation is perfect. When you are accepted you are graded and paid on your sample. That was a mistake I made as I was not as particular about the grammar in my sample. I worried more about the content.

I don´t know how much we will be able to make here, but we will have fun again as we did. I haven´t been able to find any site online where I can earn a reasonable amount of money.

Why not try to offer some service on I read that some service providers have even managed to get a car from selking their gigs there. Might be worth a try.

I signed up for Fiverr a while back, I just have had trouble figuring out what to offer as a service that I could do consistently that people would pay for. I'll have to go back there and put some more thought into what I could offer I guess.
Have you used Fiverr and if so, what has your experience been like? Thanks for your suggestion.

@glasser3 I haven't sold any gigs on Fiverr but already spent quite alot buying gigs. Most are design services coz to get my business card design at $5 is really value for money. I wanted to try selling gigs but like youm I couldn't think of what services to offer lol
