Getting a Haircut

Having my hair cut short is such a major thing for me. This picture on my profile is about three years old and I have not had it cut short since then. My long hair is thick, messy and unmanageable.
I think I will make the time to get it cut today. I have been trying to trim it up, but it has enough curl to be difficult to get even.
It is early in the day, I believe the walk in shop I use will not be open for about four more hours. I guess I should get something done while I wait.
Nothing big to discuss here. Just a decision to make for me.
I guess we could talk about our preferred hair styles.

I keep saying I prefer it long, but when it is long it is either always in a ponytail, braid or bun. . . so I am going to go short again. I was thinking shoulder length, but that defeats the purpose of simplifying my life.

Same here. Although I don't have the patience to make a bun or a braid, I'd usually keep my hair in a ponytail.

My hair was down below my shoulders. I did not regularly get it cut. Now it is up around my ears.
