Broken Hill Train Mural!

My photo is of the front of our local train station. Once a week you will find the Indian Pacific train visiting our city to collect and drop off passengers to the centre of town. You will also find these wonderful murals of trains emerging from the wall, they are very realistic and certainly get their photos taken regularly. In 2004 the local Rotary Club commissioned Geoff Demain a local artist to paint the mural at a cost of $10,000. As you drive past quiet often you will see visitors simply admiring this very creative piece of artwork. Broken Hill has many artists and this is just one creation that everyone can enjoy whilst going for a walk. Hope you enjoy!
