Adelaide Sunrise!

I came across this photo of a morning at Glenelg in Adelaide; what a site to wake up to, just magnificent. The Adelaide Hills have a cloud bordering them with a beautiful grey and white just so lovely. The girls from my work were having a girls’ weekend in Adelaide and we spent 2 nights in a lovely motel right on the beach front. My photo was taken from our balcony during our weekend and as we sat having a cup of peppermint tea and a bowl of fresh fruit this was our view. Very different than our home in the middle of nowhere on the edge of the desert and in drought. How could you feel any stress what so ever with this view and on the other side of the motel was the beach? Sometimes we really have to take a time out and smell the roses or in our case the sea air. How do you deal with your stress?

Where is the photo, I would like to check if it works with me? Exercising is good to evacuate the stress for me. I was jogging in the past, but with the age I stopped and bought a bicycle : there is nothing better than a ride on small roads in the countryside to forget my life's worries.

Since having retired I have very little stress, but when I did I found that enjoyable kinds of exercise and travel were good ways to de-stress. As with your beautiful trip to the beach, a change of scenery almost always has a very positive effect.

Glad you enjoyed your short stay in our city. When I get stressed, I like to go to your area, on the edge of the desert, in drought & in the middle of nowhere!
