The views tally one sees in one's blog

I used to go overboard seeing that number - total views on my blog - until it was pointed out to me that those views included each time I opened my own blog T
The real picture I was told I will see under 'visitors' where a breakup of visitors from different countries is listed.
Were you aware of this?

There is an option not to include our own views from the count.

No I wasn't that is not necessarily good news. Still at least we can see visitors besides ourself. Happy blogging.
