Better than Biscuits

It is hard not to like something hot from the oven, but some baked goods are far from natural and healthy. In addition, they fill our tummies without meeting sound nutritional requirements. The pictured spinach oat quick bread satisfies my craving for a warm bread treat, but also has healthy things added.
I prepare homemade soft cheese almost every day as it is a by product of keeping my mesolithic kefir grains alive. I flavor it for dips and then add the leftovers to the spinach bread dough, which is made with a little bit of Pioneer Baking Mix, a lot of ground oatmeal flakes, a little baking soda, a handful of fresh ground flax seed, black pepper, milk, lots of shredded spinach/baby greens/Swiss Chard, and imagination.
I seem to recall that the old myLot did not allow us to post recipes, but if that has not changed, I want to point out that I am not giving a recipe here, just describing the photo, and talking about food. Food is a big deal because it gives us the building blocks of our vitality. Not all of the food that is politically correct is good for us, and not all of the things "they" tell us not to eat are bad, but it is important to eat nutritionally sound food. What kinds of things do you do to eat right and stay healthy?
