Many Pieces

Puzzle anyone? Nice!!! Well, puzzles, are they exciting to do? Maybe. I guess it all depends on what type of puzzle you like. I like some that are large but not too large. I had done a puzzle years ago, it was an old time advertisement for Coca-Cola. And it took a few months to actually complete. Luckily my dining room table was big enough to fit it. Well, when that giant thing was done, I decided that it needed to be framed. After all, I worked on that puzzle a little in the morning before work and then again after dinner. When I finally got it all done I was real happy. At one point though I was afraid that there might have been some pics missing. Luckily there weren’t.
My daughter loves puzzles, but she cannot do those real advanced ones. So I buy her some of the smaller ones and help her with them. My son also had this spiderman puzzle that was a hologram. it was actually pretty cool looking when it was finished. I taped the back to hold it together, but he wound up destroying it at some point. So much for that. I even saw those 3D puzzles, they look cool actually. I never tried building one of those. They have to be somewhat intense. Though I think it would be a challenge to build one of those. I also saw a puzzle that was one solid color. Now that has to be one brain wracking one to do. Every piece being the same. Imagine. Wow.
I like puzzles, yes the ones with many pieces. I also like other puzzles. Some of those word search puzzles. You know those books you buy, word search. And there is another type I like. They call them Fill-It-Ins. They look just like crossword puzzles, only they give you the words. You have to find where they go on the grid. I find them actually relaxing. But, as it is, I haven’t had time to do any of them on a very long time. Years actually. I have been online mostly. Not that I am complaining, I like being online. That also relaxes me. What do you think about puzzles? Do you enjoy building or doing various types of puzzles? I bet some of you do.

I like mathematical and word puzzles. I will have no peace till I have solved them. There are those 'how to's' that I like. For example how can you get twelve equal pieces of three sticks chopping them only thrice!

I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles. I normally do the 1000 pieces, and will have them done in a day and a half. So I made the mistake of complaining about it once to a friend in Canada, that they just didn't last me long. So she sent me a 101 Dalmatian puzzle, but it was double sided. Needless to say, I have never got it done. I got too frustrated with it.

You like challenges then with puzzles. That's cool. So do I. I haven't found one that I think would be worth my time doing. I am looking for one with the Apple Logo or something like that. I think that would be cool. Or a collage of Apple computers from throughout the years.

@inertia4 Yes, I definitely like a challenge when it comes to working puzzles. Otherwise, I would get bored.

@TexanTornado Of course. I get that. I like challenges also. But I find the internet much more rewarding for me these days. Especially being here on MyLot.

I love puzzles. I complete them when I can. With toddlers it is hard to have things like unfinished puzzles lying around. I would love one of those roll up boards that hold the puzzles. Perhaps I will ask for that and a few puzzles at Christmas.

I like to be part of a group that works on puzzles, we did that at work with clients. Not so good by myself.

@inertia4 your kids could help you when you visit and then there is a special glue to paint them with to keep them

@GardenGerty I have a few that I had framed. Both are Coca-Cola puzzles. My son won't bother with the puzzles. My daughter would. But they are not always in the mood for them either.

When I was younger I did a lot of puzzles, and I liked the ones with many pieces. Some years ago a met a new friend who did lots of puzzles and she inspired me to get started again. I like to solve online puzzles. There are many pictures to choose from and you decide how many pieces you want. It is a nice way to relax when I need a break from other online activities.

I am sure that this is a stress buster or relaxer for you to do. I did puzzles as a young person but haven't done one in years! Glad that it makes you happy!

I love puzzles, but don't do them enough myself (we have tons of jigsaw kinds for the kids - and they do those online ones too). I used to be a pro at word type puzzles, like word searches, unscrambling words, creating words out of certain letters - but I haven't done them at all lately!

I remember doing puzzles or trying to with my grandma when I was younger. I was always frustrated by them but now I enjoy them more. I don't do them now except if one of the kids wants to.

I don't think you have to put the tag symbol in to find tags here, but what do I know yet?
Yes, I like puzzles, but if I'm working a puzzle then I'm not doing much else. Haven't had a table to work on for many years, but it's free now, still... I enjoy the harder ones. I have one with a yellow background and circles half green and half blue, I think and they are facing different ways. The pieces are odd shaped too. I also have one with the same picture on two sides, that one's a jungle scene.
About the only type i don't like are riddles. My husband does well with those, but I can't be bothered.

I have the Tags label because I do write on other sites. So I leave it there on all my posts. I haven't done a puzzle in a long time. A good one that is. I never did a two sided one. But that sounds interesting. I also would like to try one of those 3D puzzles.

I used to love doing puzzles. I used to get mystery ones where the picture on the box was not what the actual puzzle was. I also love word puzzles too.
