A lot of people can meditate to help themselves. I cannot. So I just have a nice hot cup of tea and decide which to do lolz

It often happens with people , many-a-times that many contradicting thoughts collide within our head and we are unable to make out that which one is correct and which one is not?..what to do and what not to? which decision would prove to be fruitful and which one futile..? And these decisions create real confusion. The best way to cope up with this problem is to keep calm and think on it one-by-one , over every aspect of each one of it and predict the consequences and then make out the best decision for yourself.
This might just help.

@Ishani08 This is because of keeping works pending or postponing .. Means coming to the conclusion or decision has to make is short period . Have to sort out one by one . To keep full stop and not to keep a comma . I think people in very high position handling or responsible of much works may have this type of situation . For they have to allocate to the other mates to handle and present the solution ..

It is not easy to brush away conflicting thoughts. It is human nature if we have to take a decision on a particular thing, all kinds of negative and positive thoughts will come in our mind. It is better to weigh pros and cons, then arrive at a decision. One of the option could be - to leave the scene and go elsewhere to ponder over the problem/issue. I use my wisdom and experience to arrive at a decision and once I take a decision, I do not repent later.
Indecisiveness could be killing and stressful in my view.

@dpk262006 To postponing particular thought without taking any decision right the moment and stay away will be the better conclusion .
The immediate action cause bitter impact sometimes .
One who is in much responsibilites will meet such a situation , I think .
More examples can be given .
I like your sentance " to leave the scene and go elsewhere to ponder over the problem/issue '

@writerjo - Yes, you are right that sometimes it is better not to take a decision in haste and we should allow some time to ourselves to take a better decision.

@dpk262006 I think it is much difficult to be conscious in this point when we are in that particular situation

I will prioritise my thoughts and see which one needs immediate attention. Then spend time on that and see whether it needs any action. If a change of approach to the problem requires, then I will do that. If I am confused, I will discuss with my husband. He is very matured and analyses the facts and I get solution or my mind becomes calm.

when things are turning to fast, or when too many thoughts are clouding my mind...i find a quiet place to be by myself, and i talk to God. I ask for his help in calming me. i ask him to help me sort everything out so everything is clear again.

I pray that God will lead me in the right direction, that He will give me the right thoughts.
