Weekend Traditions

For my family, Saturday is the best day of the week to go out and have fun, and Sunday has always been family day. We spend time outside with one another during the warmer months and make a point of eating each and every meal with each other. Other family weekend traditions include going out tag sale hunting, barbecues in the summer months, hot chocolate nights in the winter, and walks around the neighborhood in the spring and fall. I am curious as to what other's members' weekend traditions entail.

It is the same case with me, my 3 children are scattered all over the globe and as for us , we dont follow any set pattern. Now that it is raining heavily here , we spend most of our weekends at home , going for a drive in the evening and eating out at night ..

so jealous your familiy weekend. maybe we are not in same culture, between Western and Asian, as i am a Chinese , living with parents. so every weekend like a normal day . if dating some one , may outside have a dinner or movie something , not like a party as you are. so kind of otaku ,haha

That is a lot like us! Hubby works long hours during the week, so weekends are for us to spend time as a family. That's the main part of of the tradition - just to be together. We may go out (our plans vary as there is a lot we can do locally) or we may stay at home - as long as we are spending family time together. I particularly enjoy going outdoors - through botanical gardens and even hiking!
