The following advice worked for me. I came up top in one of my courses.
1. Study as if you are required to teach the subject.
2. Make your own notes.
3. Summarise the notes again and again until you know it at the tip of your fingers.
4. Help others understand when they ask you. Be humble.
I hope you will work on the above. If you need more specifics, just ask.
Studying should be enjoyable, and it is up to you to motivate yourself.

Read the lectures notes as well as ask the lecturers for recommended text. Go to the library. Always paraphrase your understanding in your own words. It makes the notes more understandable to you when you read them again some time down the road.

Yeah,I totally agree with you about the hard work.As the saying goes no pain,no gain.Then,how long do you usually study in a day?

I study my lessons very hard especially during the exams.
