Am watching a doc about the history of marijuana. It is pretty funny really. They say that smoking marijuana is better than getting a blow on the head. A concussion shrinks the brain. Usage can also bring teenagers 6 to 8 points down on intelligence poll. Causes memory problems and concentration. But, a teen is not fully developed in the portion of the brain that helps in decision making. Propaganda said that smoking marijuana can make men act like beasts and it is worse than opium. Cause sexual deviants and the down fall of society. Ignorance is bliss I guess.
I really don't think it is that much of a problem especially when I hear people talking about how much it helps them with their pain. I believe it is a cross over drug and that isn't good but either is alcohol which teens have access to.
If it weren't for marijuana we wouldn't have Cheech and Chong movies, yummy brownies and such. What are your thoughts?

@cynthiann I do think it should be completely legalized. Which doesn't mean commission of a crime together with smoking/using/distributing shouldn't be illegal. Driving under the influence, selling to a minor, smoking in a hospital, stuff like that should still have a penalty.

I do not think it is good for young people, but for those in pain I am sure it would be a blessing.

Yes, you are right. It isn't good for young people. It is very relaxing though and I think that is where a lot of pain comes from. Stressing and tensing up of the muscles.

It is also used effectively as eyes drops - medically approved

@celticeagle You are right. However, cancer patients say that it helps with the pain.
