My Future And Work At Home

So a year is coming up since I have done nothing but work online for my income. Prior to this I worked a stressful job at a call center which I had to quit anyways as it was really messing me up emotionally. I have always had a rough go with depression and anxiety it seems but it affects me even more when I work at jobs with a lot of co workers. Once I was making enough online in September 2014 I gave notice to the call center and left I was very happy! However that was short lived. After Christmas 2014 I ran into a lot of sites having less work for whatever reason and I was finding it harder to earn online. It also didn't help that I continued going into a deep depression which affected my mood and motivation. September 4th 2015 will be 1 year of trying to earn online. I can tell you that the last 7 months have been a real struggle. It also has caused issues within my relationship since my boyfriend has been buying groceries with his own money (We always go half on anything we both eat or use). We don't have a relationship where he takes care of me and I am fine with that. He does help me when he can though and I help him. I do owe him some money though. Yikes. I had gave myself a year to get it going then was going to leave it all behind but I don't think I can. July was the first time I ever spoke to a doctor about my anxiety and depression and though he put me off from working I still login everyday and work, I have to. After talking to welfare on the phone they determined I wouldn't be eligible where my boyfriend makes over $1,000 per month. I have never been on welfare in my life but it is one of those things, unless online picks up or I can land a job in town then I got nothing. I have been looking into medical transcription courses but I worry often that I will be bad at it because I have poor grammar and have been rejected by general transcription companies before. I do work for Quicktate and Provillage which both offer transcription work. The places I was looking at to get a certificate were CanScribe and ICS Canada. ICS Canada seems like it has a detailed course or you can pay $300 to just get a medical terminology certificate. Or the actual Medical transcription course which is over $1,000 but still cheap in my opinion. I don't have that money though technically. Does anyone here on MyLot do medical transcription? I want to continue working at home but I have no college education and maybe it is time I started looking into that...

I hope you find work that suits you. My work for extra income is mystery shopping. That is very flexible and one can do as much or as little as you like. I don't know anyone who did that medical transcription. It would be good to know if people are hiring before taking the course.

Indeed. According to CanScribe there is a company that hires some of their students with top marks I guess. I see jobs for this here and there but in my area not so much so it may not be ideal right now. I have done mystery shopping before but more for website evaluation or calling a place.

@WorkAtHomeGal it seems I don't come across many website evaluations or phone call mystery shops. I find I would rather visit a business than call them!

@paigea InteliChek was one of the places I did phone mystery shopping for it was hit or miss for me, I didn't like it in the end. Going in to a place seems easier.
