Hiya friends! Hiya mylotters!
myLot says, I posted this discussion on November 6, 2009. I am not trying to point you there to response to that discussion, I just want to show you that older posts of ours still exist. But if you want to read it, please feel free to as this topic will connect to that one. Thank you.
To continue, that same problem came back in 2013 where I agreed with my wife to go to the doctor to check it up. But to my surprise, the doctor immediately made a surgery and remove the tissue, the lump or whatever that caused the pain.
Bad thing, after three months, boil came back, at almost the same spot of my buttocks. But I did not come to the same doctor this time. This doctor number two just prescribed me medicines, for pain and anti-bacteria. I completed the medication for a week and boil disappeared.
But until today. After more than two years, boil came back at almost the same spot, which is really really painful to sit on.
So that is what I am hoping, that the same prescription will work again with the same problem. I hope, the same set of medicines will help me remove the boil, even when the prescription is already two years old now.
It's more than a week now that I can't go online and make more posts. Some wonders why or what happened to me and they don't see me often on here. This makes me...

I think it is some kind of fistula. One of my colleagues' dad had this problem too. Initially, the doctors felt it was a mere boil - they gave medications for that belief of theirs. It went off, returned back again after 6 odd months. Same medications again. Again relief for some months and then it reverted back. so this time they took him to another hospital in a different city where the doctor sent them to those who deal with Piles and sort of. They conducted some tests, and it was confirmed that it was a fistula. A surgery took place for about 3 hours and that was all. Since then, he is leading a normal life.
I am not saying you have fistula. It just be my interpretation as I have known the above case personally - as I was one of the attendees to him at the hospital. So if the boil keeps coming back at the same place again and again, a sage advice would be to consult some specialist in such departments.

Yes, old discussions are all still there, I believe. Also, new activity on them will result in earnings, so don't ignore all of those old (and good) discussions. If they're worth reviving, revive them!
I agree with @thesids. If a boil comes back several times in the same place, then it wasn't really cured by the treatment you had. If you have some of the old medication left over, it may or may not get rid of the infection (check the expiry date on the package and ALWAYS finish the course of an antibiotic - i.e. there shouldn't be any left over!).
I think that, since you have had a recurrence of the infection at the same spot more than once, minor surgery is indicated. Go and see your doctor and discuss it.

It's really hard. Another thing about this problem is muscle pain I have to face on the other side of my body. Since the problem is in the left side, I also feel pain on my right portion of my body as I can't sit on my left.

There was a time in my married life when a boil would pop one after the other. That is because I was taking Squalene gel capsules, which really takes out the toxins in our bodies and mine's way was through a boil.
I think the same effective prescription can be done to your boil.
I think you have toxins again in your body that is why you have the boil again. Good luck on your boil.

This posted 2 years ago and the medication worked with the same prescription. Fortunate I am the same popped uo once again thia time, and same spot again. Unfortunately, the pharmacy discouraged me to take the same prescription and advised me to see my doctor this time. Though I was able to secure some antibiotics and eventually, the boil disappeared a week after.

It's been two years since this horrible condition. I hope you no longer have this problem now, I mean it's been like that for quite sometime now.

wow maybe the flesh needs to be completely cleaned or something? I wonder why you get the boil on the same spot? Maybe you can change the way you sit or perhaps sit less than you usually do?
I hope you find another doctor to check on it.

I am sorry to hear that bro. This must be so hard for you - I can be on your shoes and that's very disgusting. I hope it will be removed forever. I would love to have a surgery than taking medicines, medicines could really have bad effect on health -- attacking the kidney.
