Managing your lifestyle in today's world is a challenge. Healthy living not only includes taking care of ourselves physically but also mentally. It includes diet, stress management, relationships, activity, sleep and a whole lot of things. How to start on this?

Very interesting question. The fact that you have raised this question says a lot about you. You are on the right tracks. You surely know your mind and body better than anyone else. You also know your limitations as to how much you can achieve. It is this balance that will take you where you want to go. Good Luck

Hi, you need to plan you day today activities taking care to include some time for healthy activity like exercise , meditation or yoga , whatever suits you the best . Diet is easy to manage but when you get involved in physical exercise , your stress levels come down automatically and it also shows in the way you manage your relationships, sleep and in fact a balanced life reflects on your entire lifestyle..

I think to start living a healthy life we need to define what is healthy. The internet is full of suggestions on how to eat and live but they almost never say the same thing. I am trying to change my life over to eat and live more as nature intended. I am trying to skip foods that come prepared or in a box. It has been tough but so rewarding. As I have been cutting out the artificial ingredients I have been sleeping and feeling better. I have also spent a lot less money on food but more time in the kitchen.

Slowly! I think too many people change their lifestyle too quickly. I guess it depends on the person and how healthy they are already? For example, reducing the amount of soda pop they drink each day until they no longer drink it. I agree with you, that healthy lifestyle is both physical and mental.
