I cannot function unless I drink a mug of hot black tea with milk in the morning Some people prefer coffee and some health conscious people prefer orange juice. Green tea and lemon water with honey are also taken by a few . What's your favorite drink with breakfast?

Well I am a total coffee lover but due to pregnancy I have to limit myself a bit. I usually drink three cups per day which is not much compared to others but during the last weeks I had a lot of days where my stomach did not like any coffee. Those were difficult mornings *g* I also like to drink milk for breakfast, especially during pregnancy since it's a healthy way to get enough calcium for my baby. Take care!

@Dawwriter Yeah well, small cups. Not like the huge Starbucks cups you usually get. Maybe one third of that so one Starbucks cup per day is ok I guess.

Hot black coffee in winter and iced coffee in summer. I do love tea though but I feel coffee gets me moving in the morning! I've recently been using filter coffee rather than instant. Don't think I can go back to instant coffee now.

I have to say that I was a really big soda drinker but since I started a new diet, I drink water and eat a juicy fruit like an orange or something. It really helps to start off the day with some healthy energy.

Glad to see this discussion. As a Chinese,in the morning, we have many kinds of drinking for the breakfast, such as rice porridge, pure bean juice, mixed bean juice or too many kinds of grain juice. But, a experience doctor that he suggests that people should drink a glass of cold boiled water as the first thing when you wake up in the morning. It is good for your stomach and your body.

Coffee - regular coffee, one cup, black strong, no sugar. Then I need water to wash down my bp meds.

I start with a glass of water, more to rinse out the toothpaste! Then I have a glass of juice and take my vitamins. Then I move on to my morning coffee and breakfast.

There can be only be one drink that sets me in motion every morning, and that is coffee. I can't imagine starting the day without this magical drink and I have no intention to replace it with anything else. A morning without coffee is nonsense for me!

Most definitely coffee for me. I need at least 2 cups before I can function, and at least 4 before I am functioning properly. LOL

Hi, I need a hot black cup of coffee in the morning, I never eat breakfast, never seem to have an appetite. I like my tea later on in the day but need to start the day off with a coffee.

Apparently mine is coffee. Until I have a cup or two of strong black coffee, I ignore everyone in the room. The minute that the coffee gets into my system... I'm up and running (in a chattering kind of way!)
