My Other Mother

Just how so sweet of her to send me a box of sweet mangoes, whom she knew my ever favorite. I'm so blessed to have a mother as caring and thoughtful as her, and I'm proud to call her as my other mother. The day I wedd his son I knew she would be a good mother in law to me, every girl wants to have and wish for.
Talking to her everyday was never so boring and she keeps on reminding me to be careful since I'm living alone. I can't ask for more, I am blessed with two mother, my real Mom of-course and my other mother, both are just great and loving.

You are really lucky that you have not only a caring mother but a caring mother-in-law also. In India daughters-in-law generally don't appreciate their mothers-in-law publicly . Mothers-in-law are many a times with logger heads with daughters-in-law because both think that they have first 'right' on the son/husband.

@Katriona_22 - It means that your mother in law's turn comes after you, as far as the question of 'right' on your hubby is concerned?

I could say that too and this becomes possible when the son loves his mother and the daughter in law does not object but in fact encourages it.

You are lucky to have a sweet mother-in-law. But why do you live alone ? Where is your husband , her son?
