Matt Damon sucks why dont the pick someone who can act he cant act not even a baby would like him and they dont know better

I wouldn't go as far as to say he sucks, but I think there are many better choices. Especially, because I think this movie me re-energize the franchise, so you need someone who can grow with the role. Young is a soap veteran, but young enough and unknown enough to grow with the role.

It's true that he is "rumoured" to be the next, younger version of Cpt. Kirk, but nothing has been confirmed. As of now it is just a rumour, though he has expressed interest in the part if it were to be offered to him. Personally I'm on the fence. And yes, Steel Dan Fan, NOT the same casting director as Enterprise... PLEASE!
