Blackberry and Apple Crumble - Yum!

The weather here in the UK isn't that great at the moment. Today we have had torrential rain. but now is the beginning of the blackberry season and there seem to be plenty in the hedgerows near where I live. I love free food and black berries are my favourite, so between the rain I went out and picked some. We have a cooking apple tree at the bottom of our garden, and although the apples aren't ripe yet, those that the wind has knocked off are fine in blackberry and apple crumble. So tonight we are having a nice blackberry and apple crumble. I like blackberry and apple pie too, but I think crumble is best. Which do you prefer, crumble or pie?
