Lethargic Day

Today , I feel so lethargic . I yawn a lot and can’t think well .
I drank another cup of coffee during snack time this morning to fight it , to no avail.
I feel lethargic because for 3 days now , I only get more than 6 hours of sleep.
So far , as we go on with life we know more or less how many hours of sleep we need to keep us up and alert . And for me it should be 7 hours and up .
But thank God it’s Friday today , because I can oversleep and catch up with sleep . Yehey !

I have a fixed schedule when it comes to my sleep. Even when there are house guests I get to bed at my usual time. But sometimes for whatever reason sleep evades me but I take it in my stride.

Sometimes when I am sleepy I am also the most creative.

It seems most nights I get about six hours but then have those naps in the afternoon.

I don't sleep all that well either, and consequently, i end up knodding off during the daylight hours and that is sor frusttrating too. i would rather sleep at night, but it seems I just toss and turn and can't get comfortable enough to get to sleep, and if i get to sleep, I don't stay asleep. I wake up and look at the clock and realize that it wouldn't be long before i have to get up, so I just try to make the most of it and get what sleep I can.

That's impossible now my friend because i had a Total Abdominal Histerectomy when i was 38 years old . And now i am in my 50's so i am absolutely not menstruating anymore.
I just cannot sleep as early as 10 in the evening so i can have 7 hours of sleep until i wake up at 5:00 a.m.

Disturbed sleep or sleep for less hours than requires could make us feel lazy and dull. Our body needs rest to recoup and recharge. If our body does not get enough sleep, we just do not feel like doing anything. I hope you will be able to catch up with your sleep during weekend. No need to feel stressful because of lack of sleep, our body is capable of compensating the lack of sleep. I love to sleep, at least for 7 hours and if I find that my sleep has got disturbed specially in the morning, I better get up and finish my daily chores. I catch up with my sleeping quota during weekends.
