Not A Big Fan Of The Mac Sound; However, Their Keyboards Are Something Else!

The keyboard that came with my second hand Mac Pro (2008) was a bit poorly and the E key was missing, making it difficult to type. With it being a vowel, of course the E gets used quite a lot!
Anyway, with this in mind John ordered me a brand new Mac keyboard (not wireless as they cost £10 more) from Amazon and it has those keys that lie flat to the surface. These keys have a name but it escapes me at the moment. The fact is, I can type way faster on this than on any other keyboard I have used before. I'm 'almost' a touch typist now lol.
As for the sound - well, I'm not impressed to be honest. It comes out of this massive tower unit and I was amazed at how tinny it sounded. Me being an audiophile (I love all things stereo), John has hooked up my cute Sony speakers from my PC to the Mac, so I can listen to stuff properly rather than wince at the tinniness. My very old iPod was the same. I had to get rid of it because the sound was so poor.
Please, Apple, get your act together regarding the sound in your wonderful products. There is a generation of people not realising that there is a viable alternative to the tin and I find that a shame, I really do.

It is nice of John to order you that one .However I haven't used this kind of keyboard where keys lie flat to the surface.I reckon I am not used to typing on it without music like sound .

Yes, it was nice of him, I agree and I've told him so too. I would say I'm typing twice as fast on it as I was on my previous Microsoft one. I'm also pleased that I am re-using my Sony speakers as I know John paid more than he should for them from the rip-off shop PC World!
