Torn between two Bicycles

Recently, I have been into a big decision I have to make. I don't know which one to choose. I am in the brink of breaking down. Nahhh .. just joking not to that part yet.
Seriously, I am considering to buy a bicycle but I don't know which to choose. Option 1: Electricity Bike which is good because this could save me some time to pedal, but pedaling is also needed. Cost, quite expensive but not a problem. However, it is very heavy and pedaling will be difficult when it runs out of battery. Option 2: Ordinary a bit high-end bicycle, pedaling is not difficult but pedaling is pedaling. so a bit tiring, price, half of the electricity bike.
Where will I use the bike? Going to work (not so far from house but the only mode of transportation is by taxi for a dollar) going to supermarket/market, going every where such as parks and all. Riding a bike here is not a problem and the road is open to bike riding.
What do you think should I choose the ebike or the ordinary one?

I would go for ordinary probably with gears. That way I can decide when to increase or decrease speed indirectly judging the pedalling frequency

Well like you said the ordinary bike is just that an ordinary bike and the e-bike can be used either way, I would go with the e-bike. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks, do you trust Made in China electronic products? I have a little doubt about it when I was told about that.

@Mavic123456 I think you already know what my answer is. hahaha Of course the e-bike. If the battery runs out you can always pedal. But one question - how hard is it to pedal in comparison to a regular bike with gears? Also, I think the e-bike is collapsible, is it not? Easy to transport when traveling back home by plane. And also easy when traveling by train. An e-bike might be better, too, if you move to a more rural province. It would be easier to get away from those stray dogs that love you so much.

@Mavic123456 So you bought the gear bike? Ohhhh...so sorry my internet went down. It never does that and I don't know what happened to it last night. I called and they said it wasn't just me but everyone in the area and that they were working on it. Was okay when I woke up this morning. Maybe you can sell the bike? You can't return it? I wish I could help you. Just remember that if you don't hear from me for at least a day something's wrong. Try to wait if it's that important. I have no other way of getting in touch with you.

waaaaaaahhh... I was waiting for you yesterday and would really want to hear your final opinion... hu hu hu... you have a point there, that's very very true, but it is 30 kgs. so it is like pedaling 90 kilos (including my weight) .. hahaha... I was thinking of putting it in the box for (100$) before I go home. waaaaaahh you have a point there waaahh.. (why am I crying? I am now waiting for the ordinary bike to deliver here) hu hu hu.. i should have thought of those... waaaaaaaahh you are right. so when I travel to other countries like Malaysia and Singapore I can just carry it along with me. waaaaahh.. I never thought of that.
thanks so much for this realizations.

hahaha I did not. it's too heavy for me and can't be rolled when folded. I was hoping that it's like a cart so I can bring it along with me anywhere I go..

@TiarasOceanView yeah .. i tried it.. but i can't it is 30kgs. I was imagining that I can put my back on it and then get into the train and go somewhere. then ride a bke instead of taxi .. but then it can't be rolled like a cart

yeah that's also what I thought so, I really need to trim down a little. the picture of the ordinary bike is the one I will be seeing today and see if it is not too high for me though I used to ride a racer bike but I was just in my late 20s and early 30s then,
thanks for your suggestion.

I don't know much about electric bikes, with the exception that they are very popular in tourist places in the states. With the pros and cons you have set before us I do believe I would go for the regular bike. Let us know what you decide.

yeah I will let you know... if not for the weight and the make I would really go for electric bike. the cost is just secondary to me although as compared to the ordinary ones it's a bit expensive. but it doesn't matter it will still be cheaper in a long run (if I will always use it and not take taxi anymore).
thanks for responding.

I would go with the ordinary. If I went with the electric, I would be constantly worried that I was going to run out!

Thanks for commenting,
the electric bike's battery is detachable, meaning to say, I can charge at work. so no problem with the problem. but the battery itself is already 10kgs. the dilemma of a woman I think... carrying heavy stuff.
