I have one officemate named X who has a very bad breath but I need to to talk to X at work, what will I do? Should I tell X or ignore it?

Bad breath is because of bacteria in the mouth that results from either bad hygiene or oral dryness. Ask them if they are taking any medication or not drinking enough water. A nice way to go about it is to tell how either you (or someone you know) had a similar problem and how you got rid of it. Drink plenty of water, use a tongue-scrape, mouth-wash before going to bed, and so on.

Hmmm well yes you could offer gum or a breath mint but what if X's reply is no. At the same time you don't want to offend X. If it gets to bad to were you can't handle it I think you should say something try to be as nice as possible. Hope I could be of some help.

Get your self some (new) kind of breath mints and offer one to him by saying something like this: Boy, I just had garlic for lunch and I better take one of these mints, they are new, you ought to try one, I love the taste, they are so cool! It might work! Good Luck!!!!!!!
