Pay per view or share in the ad revenue?

What kind of writing sites do you prefer, the one that pays for views (for example $x for 1000 post views) or the sites that shares certain percent of revenue with you (for example X% of money made by the site and your article)?

In my experience, the sites promising a set amount for x activity have never had the long-term sustainability that the revenue-sharing sites attain.

Good question! I am not sure that I have thought all that much about it. Maybe I should!
