What chat app do you use?

I am just wondering what app do you guys use mostly to chat with friends or just make new friends.Can you guys tell me some.

I do not have a chat app. I just IM someone or send them an email.

I use LINE to chat with my friends. It's free and it works great. Whatsapp is also another one I like.
