One show that shouldn't have been cancelled!

So you get so interested in a show and fall in love with the characters as well as the plot.
It survives maybe a season or 2 and then boom! Poof! It's gone. Even worse, they end it on a cliffhanger! So very tragic ;(
So if you could bring back 1 show that should have been given more time to attract the audience, what would it be?
Me personally, I'm so sad they cancelled ABC Family's "Twisted" and ABC's "Black Box." Both were getting so good and both ended with no closure whatsoever.

I have heard of that 1, but never watched it. How long was it on for? What was the general story about?

@rebelann Ah I see. That doesn't seem like my thing really, but at least it ran that long. Must have been really popular.

I know a lot of people talk about Firefly, 1 season and it was a big hit...once it got cancelled.
Anyway for me it was Heroes....I mean, it had 4 seasons. and it should of been cancelled because it's never been the same show after the writers strike in season 2, but I loved season 1 so much...I always hoped they can pull themselves together and make great t.v again. the ending was so unsatisfying

yes, season 1 of heroes just might be my favorite season of a t.v show. but the writers strike hurt them too much to rebound from that...like other shows, its a shame. also just thought of how much I loved Friday night's light's....sure, it had 5 seasons I think, but that was too soon...I could of watched that show forever

@Boonie1 Another show I have heard good things about and have yet to watch I guess maybe I should venture out more. I don't think a lot of people watch my type of shows. I binge watched the 11 seasons of "Cheers" on Netflix and am on season 2 of "Frasier."

My husband loved that show and was disappointing when it got cancelled. He said he liked season 1, season 2 was crap, but got much much better in season 3 I believe. Never watched it myself, but heard good things.

It has been a very long time since I have watched television. There was a time when we could not afford anything we had to pay for. When I have been a "watcher" it is usually HGTV or History. I think that is in part because of what you said. You fall in love with a series, the plot, the characters and someone decides it must disappear.

I would definitely never have cancelled Jericho, let alone cancelled it twice as the network did. The problem with American TV is that the networks all want something that will go on for years, and make them lots of money in the meantime. But they miscalculate, they don't think out the plot line far enough. They get into the middle of it, start improbably subplots and then it all fizzles. They should do more of the kind of closed end series that Britain does. Just make the right number of shows - not too many and not too few. Have an ending in mind, don't be afraid for the show to have an ending. I would rather have one great season than three poor ones and then a show be cancelled with everything up in the air.
