My Garden Harvest!!

Sad to say, but now that I'm back to mylot again, I won't be spending too much time here because....well, it's time to harvest the garden!! As you can see by this picture, that is exactly what I was doing yesterday!! Now today, I won't be on very much because the hubby got the day off and we'll be going to town. Now we moved from the city that I was last living before I stopped writing here. We now live in a "village" and the closest town that has a Walmart is 30 miles one way. The other towns that are closer are 15-18 miles away, but they don't have any "Big" stores or hardware stores. Of course on the way to/from or while we're in town there is usually something to post about!! lol So, for now, I will c'ya later... Do you have a garden? Do you live near a Walmart?

Hi there. Welcome back to mylot. I just found out last night that mylot has been rebooted. Is mylot going to pay us again? I can't believe it. I miss you my co-mylotters. It's good to hear from you again. I don't know if you still can remember me. Anyway, goodluck in gardening. I want to gave a garden too but it's not yet possible so far. A big shopping mall is just 5 minutes away from my boarding house. I'm lucky. Happy mylotting.

It's so great to see the harvest from your garden!! I have a small garden, and I started to plan some vegetables, such as okra, sweet potato leaves, cherry tomatoes, basil - those very easy to plant and grow. I'd like to plant more and slowly learning to handle and take care of my garden. There's no Walmart in my country, but there are other supermarkets and stores that sell vegetables nearby, so we usually get vegetables from there. Of course, getting fresh vegetables from our own garden is the best!

I don't have a garden here. If I did have one, I would start with tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, and potatoes. But I don't think the landlord would appreciate the yard being dug up. There are 2 Walmart stores here...one at the south end and the other at the east end. I work at the south store.

Hello there, friend. Glad to find that you are still here. Wish I can have a garden too but I live in a city where there is no place for backyard gardening

Nice garden haul. We do have a garden. We live about 30 minutes away from the nearest Walmart and Lowes. We are just a few minutes to two other local grocery stores and a small hardware store.

Our garden is on the dying end...things have been planted and producing since April - we don't plant a winter crop.
