My kids think that beeing grounding for bad grades is a foreign language;but I STILL HOLD MY GROUNDS...The new computer grade system that I can see my kids grades, missing homework assignments,e-mail the teacher...see teacher comments...is great.I HAVE 24-HOUR ACCESS to my kids daily progress in school.

Yes we do punish my son for bad grades.Going to school and getting good grades is his job. Getting a bad grade because you didn't study or didn't complete a project doesn't seem like a big enough consequnce to teach a kid to be responbile. There has to be a consequence at home as well.
