Ugh, I'm Procrastinating

So I work from home as a freelance writer (on Textbroker and Zerys), and there is plenty of work for me on the job board(s). What am I doing? I'm procrastinating. I have a bad habit of doing that. :-/
I am leaving for my vacation either tomorrow or Friday (change of plans), and I am not planning to do any writing or blogging while I'm away. It's already been a slow week (on my end), so I really shouldn't be sitting around doing everything but writing. I also lost my main writing client last week, so I should take advantage of the work on the board while I can, because you never know when things are going to slow down.
I'm being pretty stupid for someone who is going to lose several days of pay (I'm excluding the weekend because I usually don't write during the weekend anyways). I guess I'll continue to sip on my coffee, hope it wakes me up (because I'm pretty tired) and force myself to get some work done. You would think this client telling me to "keep up the great work!" would be enough. I'm grateful to work from home as a freelance writer....I'm just tired is all.
Oh and by the way, if you recognize me from any writing/blogging websites, you're welcome to follow me. I already followed a few people I recognized, but I'm sure I missed some people.
Anywho, I'm out. Take care and have a good evening, everyone!

Sometimes we really need to just slow down and enjoy the day as it rolls.

Oh gosh, I too struggle with procrastinating my homework and such. You just gotta face the fact that although you don't want to do it, it needs to be done. Push yourself to get it done and you'll feel so much better afterwards.

I can speak from experience that procrastinating is never good, but for writing especially sometimes you just need some inspiration to get you going, and that inspiration can be hard to find. I think it's very cool that you're a freelance writer! It's a job that I've been considering for myself for some time now... Would you recommend it?

@roomfortwo - I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try it. What I do is ghostwriting though, so the client doesn't put your name on it, but I do get paid for it. I just want to throw that out there. I write on Textbroker, Zerys and Writer Access; it's good to have more than one egg in the basket.

I am a HUGE procrastinator. When I was in college I always always waited until the last minute to do an assignment. But I still usually did pretty good on it, especially when it came to writing an article.
