I am convinced that we use more than 10% of our brains, but we're still nowhere near 100% and I guess we'll never reach that percentage. I think we are genetically programmed to use our brains up ton a certain extent: maybe through evolution we will develop the ability more of brains, which will make us even smarter than we are now, but I think that is a process that will take thousands of years unless we manage to accelerate it through the progress made in neuroscience. Anyway, maybe it's better to leave a part of our brains unused and try not to create super humans being.

Well? To think about it ... if we use 100% of our brains, would that make us super human? Or would we just be humans who use all their brain power? Because we have it already. So it's not really super. We just don't use it. You see what I mean? (O.o)

I am definitely not using my whole brain.
It is wasted I am sure.

I think the 10% thing is a myth. We definitely use most of our brain, but probably not all of it.

We use the whole of the brain. We probably understand only about ten per cent of it but we use all of it. Neurologists and brain surgeons can't stimulate, damage or remove any part of the brain without affecting how a patient behaves. It all does something.

For most of my life I've heard that we don't use 100% of our brain. Maybe that's true. Maybe it's not true. I can say that whatever percentage of my brain that I have been using for my entire life? It has served me well.

Maybe 10%. But I think it is not important.
What we need is we need to keep learning and improving.
