I... have a plan!

15 Nothing spectacular, just a simple or may even be a boring one. But I need to note it down to keep my head straight! The plan is to write 20 discussions a month; or in other words, completing 100 discussions by end of year! Why 20? I can see myself doing one a day. But I'm also giving myself some leeway; there bound to be one reason or another that could prevent me from writing even just one discussion a day. That's it! I told you it's not a big deal. If anything, it shows you what a strange obsession I have with numbers or keeping things systematic - even when I'm myLotting!

That sounds great! It's a nice concrete goal to work for, and like you said you're giving yourself plenty of leeway to meet it. Sure beats some of the ones I've tried... like "I'm going to shoot for $5 here today!" Although that sort of goal is a little easier to do now that we have earnings updating more than once a day...

Isn't that great? It's like updating every hour or something now!

@sishy7 No, because I'll be ready to log off and it will update, and I'll be all "I'm rocking it today! I can't quit now!" Hi, I'm Yuki, and I'm a myLot addict...

That sounds like a good plan. I am assuming you are planning for a 5 day week. Is that Monday to Friday?

Yeah, I may or may not be able to make it here on some weekends - that's when the leeway comes handy.

Posting topics is fine but we must get responses and comments. I too feel like posting but get a bit frustrated when there are no responses.

When things were great on MyLot version 1.0, I had a diary full of content for discussions ready with me. I had a bunch of them up here. It is always great to be prepared. I have been trying to get back to the stage where I would post discussions, but right now, there are too many deadlines that I need to meet. The next 6 months (maybe until Jan 2016) I am quite occupied - Self Learning is what will be keeping me busy besides the tasks I am into. As such, I do feel, that I will not be able to do justice in case I started posted that regularly. So for now, I am keen on keeping the interactions going... and occasionally come up with a discussion.

That is a great plan. I don't make plans when it comes to posting in here, because I never know from one day to the next if I will be starting a discussion or not, which is very rare for me anyway. I did, however start two today, and haven't got any responses yet. I guess mine aren't all that interesting, but I will let them go for a few days, and if I don't get anything at all, I will delete them. We only get paid for interaction anyway, and there sure isn't any at those yet.

@sishy7 Nice plan ! I wish you will succeed in your goal . As of now i don't have any plan just trying to analyze how it is going to work in different ways . I haven't started any discussion yet just trying to respond what ever i can . I will change my way slowly once i find a good and easy way i will pounce on that .All the best

@prashu228 I completely agree with your views dear. As I too have similar problems right now. And at MyLot, it is never fun when you start a discussion and leave it unattended.

Hello @sishy7 I also feel that it's a nice plan and all best for succeeding in your plan. Currently I am not having any plan, I am just trying to be an active member as I have been here before. Your plan seems to be very good and setting a goal will certainly helps you to be more active here. Have a great time.

Setting goal's is important, but not just about discussions. the more you respond to other people, the more people will see you, respond to you and in return will find your discussions. my goal will to be also to respond to every interesting discussion I see

My weakness has always been about writing my own discussion or post. That's why I set myself a plan so perhaps I can improve on that.

I also find it kind of difficult to come up with my own discussion , and it is easier to just respond to someone at that point, but you can always write about anything at all that comes to you. worse case you don't lose anything, and you never know what it may bring

@sishy7 I also have a weakness when it comes to writing my own post or discussion. I haven't decided yet how I'm going to overcome it except to take it one post or discussion at a time and learn from myLot people. Thanks for your patience with me.

That seems sensible! My 'discussions', feature seems blocked for now, for some strange reason. So I am envious of anyone, who can keep discussions going! Wonder how long it will last? But yes, the number of posts at least, gives you a sure idea how much you add to the scoreboard, in a specific time.

I would like to create one discussion a day, but I'm not sure whether I'll be able to meet that goal. But I like to feel that I've done something creative every day. Still trying to come up with today's topic and it's past midnight where I live.

I feel you... That's why I don't set the plan at 30 posts a month. And if there are days I happen to come up with more than one ideas, I just save them for my 'blank' days.

@sishy7 If I can come up with more than one in a day, I'd prefer to use them on that day. I need to push my brain into coming up with more ideas.
