I earn bitcoins by visiting some sites and putting the collected amount in investment sites. There are also sites which pay in bitcoins by playing games. I can do it along with my other online activities. I am happy with my progress as far as bitcoin is concerned. But yes there are lots of scam sites using bitcoins so we have be careful.

@prashu228 Thank you my friend. The value of bitcoin is very volatile but still good. I didn't appreciate bitcoin until one of my sites stopped paying thru paypal and bitcoin was one of the options. I was only using this currency to top up my mobile device but now I also use it for investment.

Oh gosh, bitcoin. What a pain. It is DEFINITELY not worth it. The bitcoin exchange rate is awful, one day 1 bitcoin will equal $200, the next $250, and so on. bitcoin mining is possible and can get you bitcoins, but it's a pain to set up, gets you very little money- i'm talking about a cent or 2 a day, you'll be lucky to make $4 a month- and almost always fries your computer board. transfering paypal to bitcoin is a hassle as well. because you can't do it on bitcoin, you have to look all over the web for someone who would do it. overall, i would not recommend unless you're buying something on the darkweb. lol.

Until it is linked to the USD and other fiat currencies, it will be volatile. You have to see the value of Bitcoin in itself. It is accepted in more and more places. Even the big ones like Microsoft also accepted. You have to see the blockchain, which is a revolutionary technology, the future of our global economic system.

I heard about Bitcoin since years ago. But yes, just like @jkct02, I have no confidence with this currency. This virtual currencies business usually doesn't last forever. Beside, I heard people complaining mine BTC waste their power. I will not speculate with this

God, Bitcoin is still alive?! I remember mining with my old toaster and getting lucky, hitting a block. If I remember correctly, I still have about 20 dollars worth of Bitcoins in my old wallet. Bitcoin is now not really worth it, considering how so many people bought special miners to grab all of the money they can and made it much more difficult for others to do so.

I am not sure about the virtue currencies such as Bitcoin. There were many issues about Bitcoins in the past few years. I have no confidence in Bitcoins at all.

@aana75 It is the fact that bitcoin is not really a real world currency that bothers me. Bitcoin is a virtual currency so it may serve its purpose in internet transactions but in the real world, we have to know that bitcoin users are not protected by refund rights that is provided by the banking regulations. So when things go wrong, the user can not ask for a chargeback like PayPal or credit cards.

I used E-Coin (now WirexApp) virtual Visa prepaid card and linked it to my PayPal account before but it is no longer available in my country. It is now limited to European countries.
