Indian Vs Sri Lanka three match test series is going on and the Sri Lankan cricket legend Kumar Sangakkara is going to end his international test cricket career by this match. This match is his 134th test match and he has scored 38 test centuries and 52 fifties. He is having a great batting average of 57.7 in the test matches and these stats definitely shows how much potential he has got. Sri Lankan team definitely targets a victorious send off for Sangakkara. But the Indians batted really well and managed to score 393 runs in the first innings.

I gave up watching cricket since Rahul Dravid retired. But definitely, being an Indian, I cannot ignore the game called cricket. I was lured in to watch some of the highlights of the Sri Lankan Innings during the last world cup where Sanga hit back to back centuries. He is a class of his own and definitely, his retirement will create a void. But then, this is how things go. The older senior generation gives way to the new generation. Hopefully, there would be some who maybe better than those who retire. All we can do is wait and watch.

@thewonderboy Do you think that in our lifetime we would ever see a replacement of the Greats - be it Rahul Dravid, or Sachin Tendulkar or Kumar Sangakara or even Brian Lara or Chris Gayle !!! It has been so many years that Dravid, Tendulkar and Lara retired and we are still searching for a replacement. These people are legends and I would be really lucky to see them find some replacements for them

Hello @thesids, I have heard one of my friends also saying like this. He told me he stopped watch9ng test cricket when Sachin Tendulkar retired. He was great fan of Sachin Tendulkar. Definitely Sangakkara is a legend and the team management has to find someone to fill the gap very soon.

@thewonderboy One more star falling down and Lankan are going to miss this star. One of the finest left handed batsman cricket had produced. I think Lankan batting will be weakened a lot. I wish him all success for the rest of his life.

Hi @prashu228 Definitely he is a legend. Sri Lankan cricket team will definitely miss him. I am a bit surprised about his decision to retire after the second test. Don't you feel so?

@Manasha What do you think? Who will win the match? By the end of second day, Sri Lanka were 140 for 3 and they are trail by 253 runs. Angelo Mathews and Lahiru Thirumanne are on the crease at the moment.

@Manasha Yes, as we have seen in the first match. Indians were very close to victory in the first match. But Sri Lankans came back really well at the last innings and they won the match.
