I'm usually not one for foreign films, but I seen this one, and thought... I want to see this one. But, it's in one of the Indian languages.... no English. The trailer of it looks good. How soon do foreign films get English sub-titles after it's made?
Dashrath Manjhi was a labourer from Bihar in the lowest caste whose wife died in 1959 as she could not get to the nearest hospital 34 miles away so he set out to stop others suffering the same fate.

This one is made from a real story. If you do a little search, you will come to know that the "Real" family, the man's hierarchy..are still helpless and left aloof. I am not sure if this movie will create a good impact and if it does, I would be very happy.
I have not yet seen this movie, but i have read of this guy's story. It is really painful
