Have you ever considered that maybe the Earth isn't a round globe, but could be flat?

Have you ever considered that maybe everything you see is just painted on a canvas (very quickly by millions of fairies, so that it just LOOKS as if you are moving through a landscape)?
Have you ever considered that unicorns and dragons really do exist but they are always hiding just round the corner, so you never see them?
The Earth was PROVED to be (almost) spherical by Erastothenes in about 200 BC and it was known to be so (and also that it orbited the Sun) long before that.. It was Erastothenes, however, who first calculated the circumference of the Earth and the tilt of its axis.

nice thought, although where will the water from the oceans fall when it is flat.

It wouldn't have to fall anywhere. But this theory of flat earth is incorrect to me

@Cristi_Ichim yeah something to think about... if it is flat... then everything that is flowing will fall somewhere. try to put water in a flat surface.

@PrarieStyle If it were flat you couldn't cirumnavigate the globe heading in just one direction, but you can, so it's still impossible.

If you watch the video, it shows that it's still a circle. "Flat" doesn't necessarily mean square.

Flat Earth reminds me of cartoons where the villain paints a tunnel on a rock-face and somehow it works as a tunnel until he tries it himself. The evidence against flat earthism makes holding to it actually counter-rational

I guess if you're close-minded and didn't watch the video you would come to that conclusion.

@PrarieStyle Globeheads sure do side-step and ignore a lot, don't they?

The flat Earth theory is just a theory not scientific fact

A theory is something which, at least, has a reasonable potential of being proved true. Since it has already been proved (some 2000 years ago) that the Earth is a spheroid, there can be no such thing as a 'Flat Earth Theory'.... I know, I'm being picky!
