why do we come to discussion sites.

We talk to people we don't know and probably never will. Is it because we can say things we wouldn't want to say to people who know us?

because it's only in discussion sites like these where we can actually talk and say everything we wanna say. we can argue without hurting each other...

My family says they miss me but they won't put any effort to emailing me and letting me know what is going on in their lives and I don't like one-sided communication. So I was looking around for a way to communicate and find friends who enjoy reponding. I don't care much for chat rooms. What attracted me to this discussion site is that here I can discuss a topic and hopefully the ones finding it interesting will respond back and interact with me and vice versa.
