I can cook steak medium rare and I think that's pretty impressive. Well, not perfectly medium rare, but it's alright. Also, it's not so hard to season either. Salt and pepper and you're ready to go. I can also cook simple pasta dishes like spaghetti bolognese and carbonara linguini.

My personal favorite is macaroni and cheese. I can make a really great cheese sauce from scratch but it is a lot of work. Now Kraft has come out with a box dinner that is almost as good so I get lazy and buy theirs.

@jstory07 Well, we may use different methods to make the sauce. I find my way is time consuming at best. But then, usually when I'm doing it from scratch I'm cooking for a large group.

@savak03 mac and cheese, especially when home-cooked, is just so satisfying and comforting to eat. Much like chicken noodle soup. :)

First of all *high five* for recognizing one of my favorite characters on TV. :) And yeah, scalloped potatoes sounds tempting. Well, you can never go wrong with any potato dish.

I can't cook anything well, unfortunately. Although i do watch my mom and dad when they cook sometimes... mother never lets me cook since she is afraid i might cause an accident. But i have coked a few times, when i am with my friends or alone... just simple boiling and frying stuff.

I was once like that too but when I started living independently, I started to learn how to make simple dishes.

@inkyuboz hehe, that is still in the far far future for me though. My mom always says that i don't really need to cook since when i start to live by myself, it will all come naturally...or i can just let my husband teach me.

A little steak seasoning doens't hurt, some meats have no flavor at all.

I can cook lasagna, spaghetti, steak/chicken on the grill. I'm learning and cook for my boyfriend whenever he comes over. He's been teaching me along the way how to cook meals. I follow recipes he doesn't but we all learn differently.
