Were you bullied as a child?

We all know what a problem bullying is these days. Back when I was growing up (I'm now 43), it really wasn't called bullying. I was teased and yes that was hard, but I wouldn't call it bullying. Of course, these days kids have a lot more opportunities to bully one another and to be bullied. We went to school, played with friends, came home. We didn't have the Internet, cell phones, etc.
So let me know your thoughts. :)

I fell victim to a couple of boys who, at different times, made my early years at school really hard to bear. But looking back my worst experience was actually how badly I was treated by a girl who I thought was my friend at the time.

I was made fun of in 6th grade especially because I was the shy girl, but that was back in the late 70s before internet and cell phones and it just happened at school thank goodness. It still hurt my feelings, though.
